The Bylaws of the University Graduate Council are available in several
formats:

1. bylaws.tex --LaTeX source.  This is the "master" format.  It is a text
file, but contains a variety of formatting codes.  You can put it in your
favorite word processor and use it for searching, etc.  You can print it
nicely if you have the LaTeX publishing system.  From this master file, two
other formats are generated automatically.  These are:

2. bylaws.ps --PostScript mode.  This format should be printable on any
PostScript printer, and will print a nicely formatted document.  However, it
is not suitable for browsing.

3. bylaws.txt --This is a "plain text" file.  It is intended to be printable
on almost any printer, and can be processed by any word processor for
searching, etc.  The printed document is intended to approximate as closely as
possible the appearance of the nicely formatted versions above within the
limitations of "plain text."

4. HTML.  This version is designed for viewing on the Web, and is available at
<http://www.ccs.neu.edu/gradcouncil/bylaws/bylaws.html> .
